About us
A few years ago we fel in love with Mallorca as it reminds us in so many ways of Africa. We are Marijnke and William and we live in Mallorca with our 2 daughters. Running our travel agency African Travels and Mallorca Travels from the island. We are looking forward to welcoming you on the amazingly beautiful island of Mallorca.

Mallorca reminds us much of various countries in Africa, and we have felt at home on Mallorca since the first time we came to the island.
We decided to make this island our home base and moved here in 2021. It’s from here that we run our travel agency African Travels.
After having run a safari lodge, we decided to take our African adventure one step further. We started offering personalized Africans tours to enjoy the beauty of Africa. Overall, we have a combined African travel experience of over 30 years. And living on Mallorca and developing Mallorca Travels is our newest adventure.
We want to introduce you to Anne. She has been organizing trips and getaways on Mallorca for many years. She first came to Mallorca as teenager, dancing the night away in the 90’s. Now she lives here and wants to share her love for Mallorca with you.
As seasoned traveller she knows where to find to the hidden gems. As soon as there is a new restaurant or boutique hotel she visits it. Anne has organized numerous family holidays, wedding anniversaries, wine tastings in the country or weekends with friends in Palma.
Anne or Ana Victoria, lives with her husband, youngest son and labradoodle at a finca near Pollensa: a bohemian town known for its art galleries, market place and mountain walks. If she’s not organising trips for clients and her extended family, she can be found with her labradoodle at the beach, Mallorcan friends at a local fiesta or at her all-time-favourite beach: Formentor.
Marijnke is from the Netherlands and William is from Zimbabwe, Southern Africa.
Our story began in 2005 when we met at the Victoria Falls in Zambia.
We want to introduce you to Miranda, she is the one behind our instagram stories and reels.
Since she left Argentina many years ago she became a tireless traveler who is constantly looking to discover new destinations. She lived in Spain for the last 9 years, during which she moved to different cities to find her place. Mallorca is her home now, where she enjoys working together with the Mallorca Travels team to show you the best activities and destinations.
Her favorite beaches are in Calviá, what she really enjoys is the quiet and natural places, where she can relax and disconnect from the hectic city.
Why do we love Mallorca?
Mallorca offers us plenty opportunities for all kinds of adventures. We can go hiking in the mountains one day, and go to the beach the next day or visit the quiet country side another day. We can also go into Palma de Mallorca when we feel like being more cultural. Mallorca offers us the best of everything we love doing. And also, the bright blue sky and the amount of sunlight that we get to experience all year through, is why we decided to make this our home.
